custom construction company named Harry Hilbert, Builder. The year 2004 marks our 44th year in the construction arena. Dave Olen asked me if I would give him a letter of recommendation regarding our business relationship. Having know and worked with Dave on projects ranging from new construction, remodeling, and historic preservation, it is both an honor and my pleasure to do so.

From the first time Dave submitted a proposal t us he established a standard that was a step above the rest in professionalism and as he performed it only got better. Dave has a real talent for color selection and application that brings out the best in a project. He has a thorough knowledge of the various products available and understands the high

importance and methods of properly preparing a surface to receive the finish materials. We found Dave to be very dependable. He consistently delivered and completed projects on time and on budget, which speaks for Dave’s ability to work with other trades, with owners, and his effectiveness in supervising his crew.

Dave has a well rounded knowledge for the use of his trade equipment including staging and various Ariel man lifts. He is very safety conscious and he keeps his site clean, paying close attention to every detail, especially fall protection. He has an awareness of potential hazards for both his crew as well as others who are working in the same area or have to pass through the area to complete other tasks. Dave is always in learning mode for new products, methods, and equipment applications to improve his performance and the image of the industry as a whole. I have enjoyed our association and have received consistent praise and positive comments from our clients regarding Dave’s work habits, his attitude, his enthusiasm, and general good nature reflect his enjoyment of the trade. He is one link in the construction process that I do not have to worry about how it’s going to turn out.
